Our team
Elevare Nutrition Group is led by senior dietitians Yasmina Diab and Danielle Proud. Taking on the role of Directors, Yasmina and Danielle each bring 18 years’ experience in public health nutrition, community health, private practice, and roles in local and state government health initiatives.
Having worked in rural and metropolitan South Australia and Victoria, Danielle and Yasmina have a wide scope of experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and community groups. They bring a rich knowledge of the opportunities, barriers, strengths, and limitations of working across such settings.
Danielle and Yasmina are highly experienced clinicians, with each currently operating a successful private practice. They are also regular guest lecturers across academia and provide mentoring to early career clinicians.
Yasmina Diab
Yasmina Diab has qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and Project Management and is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC). She has worked across numerous settings including local and state government providing expertise and leadership across a range of public health interventions.
Yasmina has specialised skills and experience in relationship building, collaboration across various sectors, community consultation, project delivery and project evaluation. She also has experience in the development and implementation of food and nutrition related programs, and resource and training program development and delivery.
Yasmina is highly experienced in the development and application of food and nutrition policy within both a local and state government settings. Yasmina is a passionate advocate for prevention and consults to the Butterfly Foundation providing expert support.
Danielle Proud
Danielle Proud has qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics, Human Movement (Exercise Science), Project Management and Training and Assessment. She has provided leadership and expertise across a range of population, primary health, acute and sub-acute health care settings.
Danielle has specialised skills and experience in project and contract management. She is skilled in group and individualised communication tactics, including development and delivery of VET training, online materials and social media, quality improvement processes, stakeholder engagement and project evaluation. She has extensive experience in the corporate health and wellbeing space.
With over 15 years’ experience working across multiple state government agencies across a range of health programs, community engagement and population wide initiatives, Danielle brings a strategic approach with a strong understanding of the influences impacting on project delivery.
